Inductive sensors with analog output – create an electromagnetic field in the sensor sensitivity zone that reacts to the approach (removal) of metal objects to the active surface and converts the value of this distance into an analog (continuous) current and/or voltage signal with linear dependence.

Inductive sensors with analog output (IDA) are used in automated process control systems. Thanks to the contactless principle of operation and the proportional linear signal at the output, they ensure high-precision and reliable operation of the equipment during measurement and control.

The principle of operation of an inductive sensor with an analog output is based on a change in the electromagnetic field of the generator when a metal object is inserted into the sensor core. The signal from the generator output is amplified and converted into an output signal.
